A gel overlay suits anyone who wants stronger natural nails and color that lasts for weeks. It is ideal if your nails chip or peel with regular polish, or if you are growing your natural length. If you want added length instead, our hard gel extensions are the better fit.
Plan for about three hours for our Signature Premium Gel Overlay. Most of that time goes into careful Russian-style prep and building the structure of the nail, which is exactly what makes the finished set wear so well.
With proper prep and home care, a structured gel overlay typically wears two to four weeks before you need a fresh set. Following the aftercare advice we send you home with, especially cuticle oil, makes a real difference to wear time.
Use cuticle oil daily, wear gloves for cleaning and dishes, and never peel or pick at the gel. Treat your nails like jewelry rather than tools. When you are ready for your next set, book a removal or refresh instead of removing the gel yourself.
